Attorney Bio

I am accident attorney Brenda L. Page. For over 25 years my staff and I have
represented clients in Personal Injury, Nursing Home Negligence, Medical
Malpractice, Wrongful Death, Defective Product and Criminal cases. The
firm attempts to present evidence to a jury in away that tries to persuade
them to right a wrong and to help where we can. In addition, we are trial
lawyers. In today's hostile environment, a lawyer must be willing to file
suit and prepare a case to be tried by a jury to force the insurance company
to pay the full value of an injured person's claim. We have tried numerous
cases before juries from beginning to end. Our clients receive professional care
and we strive to obtain the very best verdicts and financial outcomes
possible.
I practice before all Virginia District and Circuit Courts, the Supreme
Court of Virginia; the United States District Court, Fourth Circuit; the
United States Court of Appeals, Fourth Circuit; and the United States
Bankruptcy Court, Eastern District. I have served on the Board of Governors
of the Virginia Trial Lawyers Association, served as a member of the Ethical
Considerations Committee of the Criminal Justice Section of the American Bar
Association. I maintain membership in the American Bar Association,
Association of Trial Lawyers of America, Dominion Bar Association, Richmond
Bar Association, Virginia State Bar, and the Virginia Trial Lawyers
Association.
I received my bachelor's degree in Political Science from Mary Washington
College in 1975 and my law degree from T. C. Williams School of Law at the
University of Richmond in 1982.
Under our community service program I lecture to professional, community and
church groups on current issues pertaining to the law. I am a native of King
William County, VA and a member of Third Union Baptist Church.

My
name is Alan F. Duckworth. I have worked at Page Law since
1998, assisting our clients at their most difficult moments. Community
service was something that was impressed upon me at a young age by my
parents, both of whom were educators. I always knew that I wanted to help
people and a career in the law was the avenue I elected to fulfill that
goal.
I was born and raised in Richmond, Virginia. I attended the University of
Richmond as an undergraduate student and received my law degree from The
College of William & Mary Marshall Wythe School of Law. While in Law School
I interned at the Staff Attorney's Office of the Court of Appeal and at the
Chesterfield Commonwealth Attorney's Office. Since graduating, in addition
to working at Page Law, I have taught as an adjunct Professor at
Virginia Union University.
Professionally, I am licensed to practice before all state courts in
Virginia, including the Virginia Supreme Court. Also, I am admitted to the
U.S. District Court for the Eastern District of Virginia. I am a member of
the Virginia Trial Lawyers Association and the American Trial Lawyers
Association. If you have any questions, please feel free to contact me.
